More about Kwa:ri and Friends Coloring Book

Hi friends, 

My name is Lexis Jacobs, and I'm a a 25 year old artist and proud to open my small art business as an indigenous woman owned business. I'm beyond excited to finally share something that's incredibly close to my heart: my very own indigenous inspired coloring book. My passion project.

What started as a sweet gift idea for my little cousins has grown into something much bigger. While working full-time in social services and working closely with families from Akwesasne Mohawk Reservation, I've seen firsthand how powerful community and representation can be. Whether in books, art or the simple act of seeing yourself reflected in a positive and living light, being seen and celebrated makes all the difference. 

That's why I created this coloring book. I wanted something cozy, fun, meaningful and encourages good mind- something that reflects indigenous stories, culture and joy. 

Every page has been carefully and lovingly illustrated by me, with hope that it brings warmth, cultural connection and a good mind to anyone who picks one up. 

Whoever buys my coloring book, I truly hope this book brings you as much joy as it brought me while creating it.
